DAISO is in PENANG

Welcome to Penang, DAISO...
I was in Queensbay Mall last Saturday.. As I was going towards Maybank to change money for CNY, my hubby patted me from the back and asked me to check out the shop on my left.. My jaw dropped.. It's DAISO!!!! He knows that I'm crazy about DAISO.. Although it is not as big as the one in The Curve but I think this branch is quite decent.. Bought many craft stuff such as lace and felt... But they do not have my buttons.... Maybe in future (I hope).

Korean Restaurant - DAORAE

Had a family dinner (mum's treat) on Friday as sister was home from Singapore (she works there).
My mum is Korean drama freak... How freak??? She watches the same serial - Full-House for the 4th time... All over again and not get bored of it... Every time I go her place, the Astro channel will be stuck at the Korean channel unless Jazzy hijacks the TV to watch her Bambi...

Thaipusam (Updated)

Thaipusam (Tamil: தைப்பூசம், Taippūcam ?) is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (January/February). It is celebrated not only in countries where the Tamil community constitutes a majority, but also in countries where Tamil communities are smaller, such as Singapore[1] and Malaysia.[2] The festival is also referred to as Thaipooyam or Thaippooyam (Malayalam: തൈപ്പൂയം, Taippūyaṁ ?). The word Thaipusam is derived from the month name Thai and Pusam, which refers to a star that is at its highest point during the festival. The festival commemorates the occasion when Parvati gave Murugan a vel (spear) so he could vanquish the evil demon Soorapadman. There is a misconception among people that Thaipusam marks Murugan's birthday; however, it is believed that Vaikhasi Vishakam, which falls in the Vaikhasi month (May/June), is Murugan's birthday.[3]

Road Trip - Perak

First of all... Congratulations to our football team who won the Suzuki Cup.... You have done Malaysia proud!!!!
Since PM declared a PH on 31st Dec, we decided to drive to Ipoh for the long weekend.. I rushed to finish my school work and finally we left Penang at 9ish on Thursday Night... Then on Friday, we made an impromptu decision to have lunch at Kampung Koh then adjourned to Teluk Batik to spend time by the beach and shop at Lumut....
